Downtown Boone
On the intersection of Depot and Howard, we’re conveniently located across the street from Footsloggers and Rock Dimensions, and upstairs from Magic Cycles, making up the “Outdoor Corner” of Downtown Boone. Our 100+ year old building has over 3000 sq/ft of dedicated retail space, a fly tying lounge upstairs, and private parking downtown. This shop was first started in 2014, named Highland Outfitters in the sleepy town of Linville, and moved here in 2019.
Foscoe Location
Located right off of Hwy 105 between Boone and Banner Elk. Our Foscoe shop sits along the headwaters of the Watauga River, providing public access to the Wild designated section. Foscoe Fishing Company had its beginnings in the mid 1980’s and was originally called High Country Fly Fishing. It was the first high profile fly shop in the area offering gear, guides and schools. FFCO has seen many locations and owners over the last 40 years and we are proud to continue carrying on the legacy this shop is known for.
